Ya more snow here as well. Got about 4 inches. So I got to go outside, while sick, and dig out my car and my wife's car. Plus I helped get dig out a spot for a guy to park his car and I helped unstick another car... I'm exhausted. Going to be in hopes of being able to recuperate enough for work tomorrow.

A Winter Weather Advisory setup to the north, northeast, and east of us. Haven't heard anything of significance out of it. Still alot of snow in the yard for as warm as it has been.

Today is the 5th birthday of one of our grandsons. Had a small party for him yesterday evening. The 21st is the 5th anniversery of his and his 9 year old sister's mother. Our granddaughter wants to do something special at their mom's gravesite. If the good weather holds, we will making a trip to her grave this weekend.

we got about 5" of snow yesterday and today its above freezing--so its all starting to melt.

not complaining about the temps, and am glad I live on the 3rd floor!

Hope you got a good nights sleep pwnd--you should take it easier with a cold.

Ya we got 5" yesterday here. A lot of it melted today and cleared the roads which was nice.

Thanks cosy, I'm working on it. I'm congested beyond belief at the moment. So the hardest part is breathing...

yeah lots of snow melted yesterday, got cold enough last night that our driveway froze over and was an ice rink this morning (glad I had no place to go so I am inside ...cleaning stuff

)....

did some work on my taxes, found I am still missing a form so I have to wait for it to come...so more procrastination on them

Missouri weather can be interesting. Chance of severe storms overnight followed by more snow tomorrow night. Reached 65 degrees yesterday, lots of snow melted.

yeah same here...tomorrow supposed to rain, sleet, and then possibly snow later in the day...with temps from freezing to about 50! (and then back down into the 20's)...possible amount of rain is 1" (in snow that would be a foot or more---sooooo glad its not snow this time).

watching the snow pile on my deck melt...the railings are already clear and the pack is receding and decreasing in height....perhaps it might be gone before it snows again tomorrow

but its sooo nice that I had the door open for a bit, cant wait for the warmer weather to stay around (more than a few hours).

Ya breathing is pretty necessary. Just need to work on getting it back to normal. A bit better today so hopefully it is moving in the right direction.

Supposed to poor here tomorrow as well. We already have a lot of water due to melting of the snow, so it should be very interesting. We are under a flood warning starting at 3am...

yep had some really bad weather around here...thunder, rain, wind, fog, sleet and yes snow...though still quite glad the temps were warm enough that the 1+" of rain we got was rain instead of 13+" of snow! think we even saw the sun for a few minutes too--so we had just about all the weather kinds we could in one day (missed some hail and the freezing rain was a bit aways from us).
so glad I had no place to go so I could stay off the roads.

We had the exact same thing here yesterday as well. And it snowed overnight... Now I have to do my treacherous 25 mile drive into work. Going to be so much fun.

so glad hubby worked from home....driving in this stuff is hazardous!

cleared up in the late am so was able to do some errands, but geesh, it was hard to keep the car in my lane at times.....

glad we missed the tornados, just too dang early in the year for those!!!

got my last tax form, now I get to stop procrastinating and see how much they owe us!

There were some places that were just downright awful. One place I couldn't even see... Not so much fun.

It is far too early for tornadoes... Glad they weren't near us here either. Do not want any of that, especially after November.

I still need to do my taxes. Need to talk to the wife about that one since we are going to joint file this year.

I think I will procrastinate on it until tomorrow, since it cant go anywhere until I finish it and make copies (which wont happen until monday anways)......so for today....

Ya we need to look into a mutual fund or a roth ira at some point. My wife does have one apparently. Or so I have been told.

I took a nap yesterday as well. It was quite lovely. We have to finish laundry today, did a couple loads last night, will do the rest today.

you can start a plain ole ira at your bank (cd or such) just to get some $$ into it--and get your deductions

....then move it to something else later, you cant go back and put stuff in for too many passed years so doing it now will give you something (better than nothing)....then you can talk about what to put it into.

oh yeah--laundry

got some o that to do as well...sounds like I have an exciting sunday planned (yawn)....perhaps another nap----

Ya I should do that at some point this year. With only having one income it does make it more difficult to put money aside. And of course my school won't match anything I put in.

I hear that one---only one income and no matching, yep that one sounds VERY familiar (in the exact same situation here)...

and something else that sounds even more familiar--cold and snow..more of each expected...this winter is really getting old.

Someday we will have two incomes and be able to put a lot more aside. I eagerly await such a day.

wasnt much of a tease since we barely got to normal temps let alone far above them....kinda like watching a pg version I guess.

2 incomes would be nice, but from where I sit it doesnt look like that will happen for us for a long long time (unless someone offers hubby another 2nd job).....especially with the jobs situation the way it is (and has been for years).

so I procrastinated the weekend away...now I have to do some work...so glad for calculators

We got up to 50 or so. So to us it was nice...

Hopefully for us 2 incomes comes with in the next 4-6 months... Hopefully.
